Mirzha de Manuel (1985) is a Researcher at the European Capital Markets Institute (ECMI) and the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) since September 2010. His research relates mainly to asset management regulation where he has coordinated a task force with various industry participants and regulators. He has also carried out research on takeover regulation for the European Commission. His publications at CEPS have so far referred to the AIFM Directive and its implementation. He has also been a contributor on these issues for the Financial Times. Mirzha is MA in European Economic and Legal Analysis from the College of Europe in Belgium (2010) and a qualified lawyer from the Bar of Madrid. He holds both a master in Business Economics and master in Spanish and Common Law (2009) from the University of Valladolid (Spain).
