This event is jointly organized by the Justice and Home Affairs Section at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) and the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (European Commission).

The meeting aims at exploring synergies between the findings of social science and humanities research projects – funded under the “European Research on Crime and Deviance” in the 6th and 7th Framework Programmes of DG Research and Innovation (European Commission) – and current EU policy agenda on security.
