A new CEPS book, produced jointly with Egmont and EPC, addresses the key dimensions of the EU’s engagement with the Mediterranean region and reflects on the challenges for both political scientists and practitioners to work out feasible political reform strategies for bridging the transition between authoritarianism and sound democratic governance.

A new Special Report examines the contribution that electricity trading can make towards reducing the costs of the EU’s transition to a competitive low-carbon economy, but warns that the scale and urgency of the infrastructure challenges call for significant further progress.
