Hrant Kostanyan is an Associate Research Fellow at CEPS Foreign Policy unit and a researcher at the Centre for EU Studies (CEUS), in the department of Political Science at Ghent University. He worked as an expert on a European Commission project on the EU’s relations with Russia and the Eastern Partnership countries at the EU Neighbourhood Info Centre, Brussels. He also worked as an external expert for International Alert (London, United Kingdom) in the Eastern Europe and South Caucasus research project.
Hrant Kostanyan is a co-editor of 'CEPS European Neighbourhood Watch' monthly newsletter. He is also a member of ‘EU-iPodS: The Substance of EU International Democracy Promotion’ network.
Hrant Kostanyan’s research focuses on EU foreign policy institutions and decision-making, primarily on the European External Action Service (EEAS), the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) and the EU’s relations with Eastern Neighbours and Russia.
